The first post

It's not too late in the evening, there is nothing of any interest to me on TV, so here I sit writing down my thoughts and feelings. It's a lot easier to read others efforts, but what the heck. Let's give it a whirl.
Today being the first post I am going to cover just the highlights of my day. It was a very typical day, coffee and a bagel, read the funnies and out the door before anyone else gets up. Made a run over to Costco before work to get gas. What a bargain, $3.19 a gallon. Everywhere else it's close to $3.30. Save a buck and a half. I don't understand why people will drive 15 miles each way to get to Costco to "save" on the gas. It costs more to drive here than they can possibly save.
Work went pretty much as usual. I am lucky, I enjoy my job most of the time. I think most of the people I have contact with each day enjoy my efforts, at least I hope so.
Took JM to the doctor. It's been 4 months since he broke both heels. Another minor surgery scheduled for next Thursday, but they are healing.
All the other members of the family are well, the Countess, JF, JP, JD and the mutt.
Rather enjoyed this - better than watching some mind numbing TV show for no good reason or benefit. I think that is everything worth remembering for today.
