A busy time

Last week everyone was planning on taking a few days off between Christmas and New Years since the calender practically dictates this. But, as luck would have it, we are now swamped with work that needs to be completed before the end of the year. There are at least two groups that have let things go until the last minute. They finally make up their minds and expect us to jump. I say to heck with them. They can wait until after the holidays. Unfortunately, my boss says we need to jump. It adds just that little extra pressure during this time of year to take all the enjoyment out of it. Now there will be less time to shop so I will need to know exactly what I am looking for and where to get it. So I probably won't go shopping. This makes me feel more pressure. Oh well, socks for everyone! Problem solved. Now I can get back to work. The next couple of weeks are looking pretty hectic.

My older brother turned 60 today. My dilemma, he's not that much older. Good grief.
